Avesh's MacOS Startup Screen

Here's a cool new Startup Screen I made the other day. It's 640x480 and looks great even in 8-bit. The dark background is illuminated with three spotlights. In front it says "Welcome To" in small white letters, and "MacOS" in big blue letters with drop shadows. It only took a few minutes to make, but it is high-quality and looks really nice!

This startup screen emulates the screen that appears when a Commodore 64 starts up. One command has been entered to load the Mac OS as a machine language program. Anyone who grew up using a C64 will appreciate this screen, which I found on a Windows 95 humor web site and modified with Photoshop. (640x480 resolution) Enjoy!

This is a FREE start up screen to get you ready for System 7.6! It is a colored background with the words "MacOS 7.6" fit for a 14" color monitor at 640x480 resolution. I created it on a PowerTower 166 with millions of colors, I am unsure if it will come out correctly at 256, but I think you wont have any problems. I was very impressed at the way it looks upon start up and i hope you all will enjoy it too.

SNJ's Mac-SOS Startup

If you ever felt totally helpless for no reason (or for good reasons), then you need the Mac SOS to come to a rescue. This ResEdit patch replaces Apple's Mac OS startup graphic with a cute semi-3-D version, with artwork done by a graphics design professional, code name SNJ, who happens to be my co-worker here in the Far East. This should work on all Macs running 7.5.x, on any 256 color (or more) screen, at a minimum resolution of 640x480. Cheers!!
